Associate Professor Thomas Odom BSc, DVM, MVSc

I completed my undergraduate training at the University of Wisconsin and my veterinary degree at the University of Tennessee (1999).  I completed a rotating inernship in small animal medicine and surgery in 2000.  I then practiced small animal medicine in private practice in San Francisco for 15 years, the majority of that as the practice owner.  I moved to New Zealand in 2014 to join Massey and lead the Community Practice service.  I am now the academic lead for all of the amazingly talented veterinarians in the Small Animal Hospital.
